About Peninsulawyer

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. For those who are interested, my name is Jon Bloor and I work on the Wirral peninsula in the UK as a corporate solicitor (lawyer or attorney for those outside the UK). The posts on this blog are my personal views on:-

• Business use of social media and IT (for law firms and others)
• Gadgets and technology (with a distinct flavour of Apple!)
• Company law and company sales and purchases (which is what I specialise in)
• De-regulation of the legal profession in the 2010s
• Anything else related to the Wirral or the law which catches my interest

All of this is meant to be accessible and (hopefully) interesting to anyone who cares to read and not just lawyers. If I am wide of the mark on this and lapse into legalese or Latin then please let me know!
