Social funding revisited

Following my Is funding going social? post last year, I was interested to see the recent post by Jonathan Lea about his interview with the founders of CrowdCube.

CrowdCube is a new social equity funding service which is due to launch next month (although the site is live now) and will allow startups to apply for crowd sourced equity funding.

Well done to these guys for finding a way through the regulatory labyrinth... I will definitely be looking to see what types of startup are pitching for investment.

The site is open to any UK business so if you are looking for funding for a new venture it could be well worth a look.
